luxury transport service. Traveling north to the
Matanuska Valley, visit the village of Eklutna featuring
native culture and spirit houses. Next, enjoy an active afternoon "paddle and peddle." This tour includes one hour sea kayak lesson with an hour of self guided paddling, and two hours of mountain biking at your pace for all ages and levels of activity. This evening, dine with
new friends and overnite in comfortable Alaska lodging.
DAY TWO - WASILLA:
Visit a remote area that offers a bird's eye view of the Matanuska Valley. Colorful Hatcher Pass boasts cascading crystal clear rivers, bountiful wild flowers and first hand gold panning. No salted troughs, we offer the real thing! Rivers just below the Independence Gold Mine hold the secrets of nuggets waiting to be discoverd. At the mine, a park ranger will share the history and lore of the original miners that spent rugged days in search of the motherlode. Later this afternoon, a real adventure begins. Join in a all-terrain vehicle (4-wheeler) adventure through forrest and across creeks. Enjoy the wilderness and keep your eyes open for moose, caribou or even wolves. Get a taste of the lifestyle of local Alaskans. Evening offers a sumptuous meal with friends and some leisure time on your own. Overnite at your same chalet. (B)
DAY THREE - CHICKALOON:
This morning, as we travel Alaska, step
back in time to the glacier age. Join in a walk to the
Matanuska Glacier. Viewing it up close and personal... no experience necessary! View the incredible Knik Glacier & Matanuska River traveling
to Chickaloon. This day will prove to be a real highlight. Preserved as a scenic byway, only locals know what secrets this area offers up. Choose from a fun slow float raft ride or an exhilerating
Alaskan white water raft experience. Dall sheep will peak your photo interest. Overnite at your same chalet. (B)
DAY FOUR - KNIK GLACIER:
Part of a vacation is actually getting a vacation! Enjoy a relaxing morning in the Wasilla area. Here you can choose to add a "Spa Package" or a "Golf Package" or just sit back, read a good book or watch the salmon in the nearby stream. After lunch, we will add the icing on your cake! Today’s adventure will take you aboard an airboat to the base of Knik Glacier and Lake George. Unbelievable huge ice bergs float next to your boat, and offer a great photo opportunity. Enjoy some free time to walk the terminal morraine or take a hike along the glacier. This is a photographers dream! Watch for bears, moose or even an occasional wolf. This evening, dinner is group choice and then return to your chalet for one last night here. (B)
DAY FIVE - TALKEETNA:
This morning, tour the Iditarod Race Headquarters
and experience the thrill of a summer dog sled ride. Warm your heart with the lure of the husky puppies. Next, take in the beauty of Talkeetna, Alaska featuring your choice
of one of the adventures below: (B)

Among the most breath taking tours you will ever experience,
