Welcome to the Alaska Adventure Unlimited "Fuel Surcharge" section of our website.

Our sales team is happy to assist you in planning your next Alaskan tour. We recognize that vacations have become very expensive for all of us, and so it is our decision for 2009 to keep our rates the same as they have been for the past few years.

We will not be increasing "our" 2009 tour rates.

However, on our tour, you will be enjoying everything from flightseeing, ATV adventures, fishing,
Denali Park motorcoach tours, riverboat adventures, day cruises and Alaska railroad excursions.

These vendors ARE increasing thier rates for 2009.

This means of course, we will incur those costs for you. It is our way of saying we appreciate your loyalty, your business as well as your referrals of other friends and relatives. Please know that we understand how hard it is to enjoy destination vacations when you are paying for an entire family. We are doing everything we can to help keep these cost low.

However, we do have to be cognizant of the ever increasing fuel costs incurred by all of us. So we have posted below our fuel surcharge rates for 2009. This is on a sliding scale and will be charged not at time of booking, but on the first of the month of your departure month. So if you are traveling June 15th, we will determine the amount and charge your fuel surcharge on June 1st of the year you are departing.

$5.00 PER PERSON PER DAY - CURRENT FUEL RATE UP TO $4.00 PER GALLON

$7.50 PER PERSON PER DAY - CURRENT FUEL RATE $4.01 TO $4.50 PER GALLON

$10.00 PER PERSON PER DAY - CURRENT FUEL RATE $4.51 TO $5.00 PER GALLON

$12.50 PER PERSON PER DAY - CURRENT FUEL RATE $5.01 TO $5.50 PER GALLON

$15.00 PER PERSON PER DAY - CURRENT FUEL RATE $5.51 TO $6.00 PER GALLON

$17.50 PER PERSON PER DAY - CURRENT FUEL RATE $6.01 TO $6.50 PER GALLON

$20.00 PER PERSON PER DAY - CURRENT FUEL RATE $6.51 TO $7.00 PER GALLON

$22.50 PER PERSON PER DAY - CURRENT FUEL RATE $7.01 TO $7.50 PER GALLON

$25.00 PER PERSON PER DAY - CURRENT FUEL RATE $7.51 TO $8.00 PER GALLON

$27.50 PER PERSON PER DAY - CURRENT FUEL RATE $8.01 TO $8.50 PER GALLON

$30.00 PER PERSON PER DAY - CURRENT FUEL RATE $8.51 TO $9.00 PER GALLON

DISCLAIMER: If fuels rates are higher than posted rates, the fuel surcharge will increase by
$2.50 per person per day for every $.50 per gallon of increased cost. Also, if vendors included in our
packaged tours add a 2009 fuel surcharge, we may need to pass along this fuel surcharge also.
